During his infrastructure speech in Ohio today, President Trump took a moment to assure workers there he will protect the Second Amendment.
He referenced the op-ed written by retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens arguing for repeal of the amendment. As the President started to say “that’s really…,” someone in the audience called out, “Tyranny!”
People clapped at the President said, “Could be right about that.”
“We’re gonna protect our Second Amendment, that’s not gonna happen,” Trump assured. “We’re not doing anything to that. Not doing anything.”
